Celebrating Earth Day and Collective Action
Karndean has a dedicated social committee that constantly finds creative ways to support our Karndean-nominated charities for the year. During Earth Day, we encourage our staff to donate small or large towards EarthDay.org. As an incentive, staff had the chance to enter a draw to win a gift voucher, while enjoying a catered Meat Free Brekky Box meal.

Meat production is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, making it essential for individuals and businesses to reduce their meat consumption to mitigate the effects of climate change. Karndean recognises this and decided to lead by example during Earth Day this year, hosting a meat-free breakfast for staff and providing a delicious assortment of vegetarian options.
