If you have a slightly uneven subfloor, a new concrete floor that is still drying out or if you want to protect your original floor, our luxury click (rigid core) format will be a great choice. Likewise, if you want a quicker fitting process and less upheaval at home, our click floors are great for achieving a beautiful new floor in no time at all. We also offer colour matched scotias and skirting to complement our designs.

If added design features are a ‘must have’, our traditional gluedown format is the only one for you as it allows borders and design strips to be added as extra details between planks and tiles.

Loose lay is ideal for temporary floors when getting creative in a rented space or if you like the idea of being able to lift and replace your floor.

There is so much flexibility with our three fitting formats. The good news is your retail partner will be able to talk you through the best options for your space during your in-store or virtual design consultation.

Popular laying patterns for kitchen floors are small plank herringbones and parquet styles. This can be a great way of adding pattern and movement in the heart of your home. Our small plank herringbones can be found in our Art Select, Van Gogh and Knight Tile collections and come in either 18” x 3” or 28” x 7” planks.

Did you know… most of our herringbone styles have a matching full length plank, perfect for taking your favourite design from room to room.

If you’re looking for a modern twist on a traditional parquet floor, why not look to our 9” x 3” Art Select parquet and block designs.

In a larger space, you could also consider a full length plank laid in a herringbone pattern to enhance and complement the size of your room even further.

Open plan spaces offer so much potential to add a full length plank in a herringbone pattern or opt for a 45 degree angle. You could even use a small plank herringbone and matching full length plank together in the same colourway, defining zones such as dining areas or marking out walkways.

If you have a smaller kitchen, your floor design can help create the illusion of space. You can achieve this simply by choosing a floor that will attract attention, like an abstract geometric pattern from our Heritage and Kaleidoscope collections.

If pattern isn’t your thing, a light neutral wood or stone floor will keep your kitchen looking fresh and clean. Colour drenching with a neutral kitchen will also make the area instantly appear bigger.

For a floor that’s unique to you, why not define your finished look with design strips. Adding a design strip between your chosen plank or tile will create a visual illusion of floorboards or grouting, taking the realism of our flooring to the next level.

Let’s talk borders. Using a complementary design strip in either a single or double keyline can effectively frame your room. Choose either a light or darker strip depending on how much you want your border to stand out.
