Karndean Designflooring adhesives and sundries are specially formulated for the optimum performance of your Karndean Designfloor. We recommend the use of Karndean Designflooring adhesives and sundries to install our products. We keep a range of adhesives in stock, each of which is suitable for heavy wear use areas in both domestic and commercial locations; level, absorbent, sound surfaces; and underfloor heating systems.
Adhesives
Karndean DrySet
- Applied with 3/8” nap roller
- Available in 1 gal. or 4 gal. pails
- Covers 350-450 sq. ft. per gallon
- May be used on substrates with moisture readings up to 95% RH
- Work time: 8 hours
- Set Time: 10-15 minutes
K99 HM
- Trowel-applied
- Available in 1 gal. or 4 gal. pails
- Covers 220 to 260 sq. ft. per gallon
- 2-hour open time
- May be used on substrates with moisture readings up to 99% RH
- High shear strength
Karndean K-Spray
- 22 oz. can
- Covers 150-185 sq. ft. per can
- Dries fast in 10-20 minutes
- May be used on substrates with moisture readings up to 98% RH
- Work time: 4 hours
- Set Time: 10-20 minutes
2-Part Epoxy Resin
Epoxy Resin is a two-part mix. Both components should be mixed together with a drill and paddle to a smooth consistency and the contents poured out as soon as possible to maximize working time. If left within the container, the resin will harden within 15 minutes.
